Before you start
Prepare a domain pointing to your hosting, valid HTTPS and an accessible email address. Check available storage and databases in your plan. If the chosen address already hosts a website, back it up and ask for advice before installing.
Open Installatron
Log in to DirectAdmin using your hosting activation details. Locate Installatron or the application installer; its position depends on the panel theme. Contact support if it is missing.
Select WordPress
In Applications Browser, choose WordPress, then Install this application. Labels may be translated depending on the panel language.
Choose the website address
Select the HTTPS domain. Leave the directory empty for the domain root, or enter a folder for an address such as example.ca/blog. Check the destination before continuing.
Configure your website
Select a recent compatible version and your preferred language. Enter the website title, administrator username, unique password and valid email address. Store your credentials in a password manager.
Review advanced options
Review database, update and backup settings. Do not assume automatic backups are enabled: check their destination, schedule and available storage. These settings do not replace an agreed maintenance service.
Install and check
Click Install and wait for completion. Find the website in My Applications, open the website and its administration, then check HTTPS and login. If an error occurs, send support the domain and error message without passwords.
Install another application
Use the same wizard for other applications available in your account catalogue. Fields and requirements vary. For an existing website, ask about importing or migrating rather than starting a new installation in the same location.
Official documentation
Labels and options vary with versions, plugins and your account. Refer to publisher documentation for your configuration.
